Ministry of Care – Grief Support – St. Raymond Church, Dublin

The mission of this ministry is to be the center of the circle that will surround our parishioners and family members during their time of loss and grief. The smallest gift of time will ripple outward and forever affect the memory and feeling of support the family members can have. There are so many areas that each of us can make a difference to parishioners in their lonely and grieving times..… a written card reminding the parishioner that they are remembered and cared for; or a warm meal waiting for them when there is no energy left to cook; or help in getting a family member to/from the airport; or companionship during the funeral planning process; or help with and during the funeral mass.
St. Raymond has a very supportive Spanish speaking community.  Many of our facilitators are Spanish speaking.
