The Livermore Homeless Refuge is a partnership between four Livermore churches:
- Asbury United Methodist Church – 4743 East Avenue
- Tri-Valley Church of Christ – 4481 East Ave
- 1st Presbyterian Church Weekends only – 2020 Fifth St. (Entrance on 4th St.)
- Holy Cross Lutheran Church – 1020 Mocho Street
The Livermore Homeless Refuge (LHR) was created to provide a warm, safe, clean environment for the homeless to stay overnight. LHR does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religion.
LHR’s current funding comes from individuals, faith-based communities, and the general public. At this time LHR does not receive funding from local, county, state or federal government sources.
Volunteering for the Livermore Homeless Refuge
If you’re interested in volunteering to help the Livermore Homeless Refuge, there are lots of opportunities for you to do so. Depending on your interests, available time, and skills, you can volunteer.
Volunteers must be over 18 years of age
