Livermore Area Recreation & Park District (LARPD)

Provides both extended student services like School Aged Child Care (ESS/Kid’s Zone) after school program and Middle School – Before and After Program (PAL) as well as summer programs and senior programs.  Register online for programs.
LARPD offers parent-participation preschool for children between 6 months and 5 years. Currently these programs are at the Jane Addams House; May Nissen Park; Little House (85 Trevarno Road); the Community Center; and at Croce and Christensen schools.
For the younger babies and toddlers, LARPD offers parent-child classes that include Early Discoverers, Wonderful Ones, Toddler Time and Little Explorers as well as Early Years Special Interest classes. These classes incorporate motor and social development, movement, songs, music and play. There is also time for discussion on development and common concerns in child rearing in a relaxed environment.  For more information go online or call 925 -960-2486
LARPD is also looking for a variety of volunteers from the ages of 13 years old and up to assist with the staff in providing our District’s residents with an outstanding system of parks, recreation, and facilities. With assistance from volunteers, it is possible to provide recreation programs that will stimulate, educate, and enrich the lives of our community.  Call 925-373-5700 to request a volunteer application!
