The Shepherd’s Gate Programs offer an opportunity for women and their children to escape cycles of addiction, homelessness and abuse and to find lasting change through care of the whole person.

Shepherd’s Gate is a Christ-centered program that provides a comprehensive approach to learning the skills needed to live independently in the community. We welcome women (single or with children) who are seeking a structured program to heal from the hurts of the past and gain the services they need on the road towards recovery.  Shepherd’s Gate is not an emergency shelter, but a long-term program ranging from 2-18 months depending on the level of need.

Instructions (How to obtain resources) Women who are interested in applying for the Shepherd's Gate Program should call the Intake line at 925-487-4147. Please note that we are not an emergency shelter. Please call 211 on your mobile phone or call toll free (800) 543-7709 if you need emergency assistance.
